By using Launcher Codes you agree to what's below. It's short on purpose.

What this service does

Launcher Codes lets creators distribute download codes they already own — for music, games or anything else — through a page they control. It stores those codes, hands them out one per person, and keeps a record of what happened.

It does not sell codes, generate them, or supply them. Every code here was put there by the account holder responsible for it.

Your account

• You need a working email address, and you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13, and old enough to enter into an agreement where you live.
• You can delete your account at any time. Doing so deletes your releases, your codes and everything attached to them.

What you must not upload

This is the part that actually matters, so it's specific. You must not use this service to distribute:

• Codes, keys or licences you don't have the right to give away — including anything bought from a grey-market reseller, obtained through a chargeback, or generated by a key generator.
• Stolen, phished or resold credentials of any kind.
• Content you don't hold the rights to, including cover art and audio.
• Anything illegal, malicious, or designed to deceive the person claiming it.

Accounts doing any of the above are removed without notice, and where appropriate reported. There is no appeals process for key generators.

Fair use of the free plan

The free plan has no cap on releases or codes, and that's meant honestly. What it isn't is a general-purpose file host or a way to store data unrelated to distributing codes. Uploads are limited to images, capped in size, and are meant for artwork.

Cost

• Everything is currently free, with no plans or tiers. See the pricing page for what that covers.
• Charging may be introduced later. If it is, you'll be told before it takes effect, and anything you have already set up keeps working — releases won't have features withdrawn from under them.

Tips and payments

Creators can add a link to their own tip jar. Those payments happen entirely on that provider's platform — this service never handles the money, takes no cut, and is not a party to the transaction. Any dispute about a tip is between you and the payment provider.

Codes are not guaranteed

A code handed out here comes from a third party — a label, a store, a distributor. If it doesn't work, that isn't something this service can fix, and it isn't the creator's fault either. You can report a broken code on the release page so the creator knows, and they can issue another if they have one. Neither we nor the creator can promise a working replacement.

Availability

This runs on free and low-cost infrastructure and is provided as-is, without a guaranteed uptime. Keep your own copy of your codes — treat this as a convenient way to distribute them, not as your only record of them. That's what the CSV export is for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Launcher Codes isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this service, including lost codes, lost sales or missed release deadlines. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Reporting a problem

If you believe something on this service infringes your rights, is distributing codes it shouldn't, or is otherwise wrong, email hello@launchercodes.com with a link and a description. Reports from rights holders are prioritised.

Changes

These terms can change. Material changes are announced by email to account holders and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

Law

Swedish law applies, and Swedish courts have jurisdiction, unless consumer protection rules where you live give you something better.
